Mitered Corners


SOCM SERIES

RADIUSED TRIHEDRAL OUTSIDE CORNER

The SOCM Series produces uniformly curved outside compound corners when combined with the SO-Series outside corner extrusions. The chamfered joints are self aligning, allowing for assembly of corners in the field. Typical leg length is 12" (other lengths available as options). Screws through the grooved fins must always engage metal or wood substructure to ensure proper installation.

CC-1/SI-LR SERIES

INSIDE MITERED COMPOUND CORNER

The CC-1/SI-LR Series Mitered Compound Corners produce a uniformly curved inside corner with a mitered intersection between horizontal and vertical pieces. The chamfered joints are self aligning, allowing for assembly of corners in the field. It can be made in radii starting at 6" (smaller radii are available in standard SOFTFORMS extrusions) and as large as 36"±. Butt joints between adjoining sections need to be taped and spackled in order to achieve a seamless finish. Screws through the grooved fins must always engage metal or wood substructure to ensure proper installation.
